Follow up for Naturalisation or British Citizenship application - more than 6 months since filing the application

I have filed an application for Naturalisation as a British Citizen and it is already over six months since I attended the appointment for enrolling my biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) at the UKVCAS appointment centre (Sopra Steria)
