I currently hold a global talent visa, which makes me eligible for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) within three years. Additionally, I understand that I can include the time I worked under a skilled worker visa towards this requirement, as stated on the government website.
I applied for a skilled worker visa on August 1, 2020, but due to Covid-19, I did not receive my BRP card until October 31, 2020. However, my employer, Lancaster University, conducted an ECS check and received a positive verification notice, which granted me temporary right to work until my BRP card arrived. I have been working in the UK under my global talent visa since June 9, 2022.
I am unsure if the time I worked with the ECS document can be included in my three-year period or if I should only consider the October 31 date.
